“Art in Public Space all over Europe“
A compact introduction for schools, cultural institutions, and learning communities
The CULT Foundation Educational Package offers students and educators an inspiring introduction to art and performance in public space. Created for schools and similar organizations across Europe, the package combines clear explanations, visual examples, interactive exercises, and reflection tools. It is available on request and adaptable to different age groups and learning levels.

What the Package Provides
1. Introduction in Public Art
Students explore how art exists outside museumsโin streets, squares, parks, stations, and marketplaces. They learn how artists use public environments as stages for expression, dialogue, and community participation.
2. Examples from across the world
The package presents artworks and performances from a wide range of regions. Each example includes a brief description, cultural background, and questions that spark classroom discussion. Students gain insight into how identity, tradition, and social issues influence artistic practice.

3. Interactive Classroom Activities
Educators receive ready-to-use exercises that turn learning into hands-on exploration. Activities include:
- Observing how people use public space
- Designing a concept for a public artwork
- Mapping art in the local environment
- Creating a group performance in the schoolyard
These tasks encourage teamwork, creativity and active engagement with the immediate surroundings.

4. Cultural Diversity Module
A central part of the package is an introduction to cultural diversity within the EU. Students discover how different cultural climates, languages, customs and traditions shape artistic expression. They compare cultural influences and reflect on the shared values that connect Europe today.

Learning Outcomes
After completing the program, students will:
- Understand key concepts of public art and performance
- Develop visual and spatial awareness
- Gain insight into European cultural diversity
